My full fee is £70 for a 50-minute session, although I am open to negotiation. If you feel drawn to work with me, then please feel invited to make contact even if you cannot afford my full fee. I have some spaces available for reduced-rate therapy, and am open to negotiation.
I currently work online only
Prior to making an appointment, I suggest that you make contact with me via email, giving me some general explanation of what has encouraged you to consider coming for psychotherapy, and to ask any questions of me that you might have about my style of practice.
If we feel able to work together, I will then see if we can agree a potential weekly time to meet. Of course, you would not be beholden to this, but there is little point in paying for an initial session if there is no likelihood of a mutually suitable ongoing weekly session time. If we can agree a time, we can get started.
For a variety of reasons, I don’t generally engage in an initial consultation, though of course you may choose not to proceed following the first session. I feel that the therapeutic relationship begins the moment there is initial contact, in fact the moment that you look at this website, and therefore the idea of an initial consultation feels slightly artificial. In any case, it would be my hope that our email dialogue would be able to cover much that an initial consultation might achieve.
